TO AVOID HAVING TO WAIT IN TWO DIFFERENT LINES, PLEASE PURCHASE SKATE RENTAL(S) ONLINE WITH WITH YOUR SKATE SESSION. To ensure the safety of our patrons during the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Earl E. Schaffer Municipal Ice Rink, under the guidance of the Bethlehem Health and Emergency Management Departments, will operate following the COVID-19 protocols outlined below:  Due to Governor Wolf's current 50% capacity restriction, only 230 patrons will be admitted to each public skate session. EVERYONE WHO ENTERS THE FACILITY MUST PAY ADMISSION...NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE! All public skate patrons will enter the building through the main lobby entrance and must remain 6ft apart while waiting to enter. EXITING the premises must occur within 15 minutes of the end of the session to allow rink employees to properly sanitize the facility.  Masks must be worn at all times while on the premises. Everyone, not in the same household, is expected to practice social distancing and remain six feet apart on and off the ice. The concession stand and party room will be closed this season. Skate sharpening will only be available during public skate sessions. Season passes will not be sold for the 2020-21 season.
